lene Kjosa. Paul passed

away on October 1, 2022

at home surrounded by

his family. Visitation will

take place Saturday, Oc-

tober 15, 2022 from 11:00

AM to 1:00 PM at the Nel-

son Funeral Home in

Leeds followed by a

Graveside Service at 2:00

Paul graduated from

Leeds High School, Leeds,

ND, in 1987. He was a

member of Future Farm-

ers of America (FFA),

played trumpet in high

school and played Jr. Var-

sity Football. Paul gra-

duated from Lake Region

State College with Associ-

ates in Simulation Tech-

nology and lived in vari-

ous locations including

North Dakota, Washing-

ton, Minnesota, Alabama

and Illinois.

Paul was married to

Elaine Jacobson and later

separated. They had two

wonderful children, Nico-

las and Morgan, both of Il-

linois. He enjoyed watch-

ing movies and the Min-

nesota Vikings and play-

ing card games with his

children. He also enjoyed

spending time with

friends from the VFW and

celebrating Fourth of July

in North Dakota.

Paul is survived by his

children, Nicolas and

Morgan; sister, Sandra

Austin and Connie (Dale)

Elverud; many nieces,

nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in

death by his parents,

Robert and Darlene Kjosa;

brother, Robert, Jr., and

sister-in-law, Sharlene

Kjosa; niece, Chelsie Aus-

tin; grandparents, Jack

(Louise) McGarvey and

Gladwin (Garnet) Kjosa.
