Robert “Bob” Jundt
Robert “Bob” Jundt, 73,
Minot, died Friday, Janu-
ary 28, 2022 in a Minot
hospital.
Robert Francis Jundt
was born on January 20,
1949, a son of George B.
and Frances (Voeller)
Jundt in Reno Valley
Township, Rugby, ND. He
was raised and educated
in Rugby, ND, graduating
from Rugby High School
in 1968.
Following graduation,
Bob was drafted into the
United States Army on
July 15, 1969. He proudly
served his country during
the Vietnam Conflict. He
was honorably discharged
on July 7, 1971.
Bob returned to Rugby,
where he farmed and
worked for Cow Country
Supply. Bob later moved
to Minot, where he
worked for North Country
Mercantile, and most re-
cently Wilbur Ellis, retir-
ing for health reasons.
He enjoyed playing
bingo, attending flea
markets, reading, and
looked forward to having
coffee with his buddies at
Schatz. Bob was very
proud of his daughter
Sara and her family and
spoke fondly of them
often. He was a quiet,
humble, loving dad,
grandpa, brother and
friend that will be missed.
He was a member of
Our Lady of Grace Cathol-
ic Church, Minot
Bob is survived by:
Daughter: Sara (Travis)
Danielson; granddaughter
Caleigha;
Siblings: Georgiann
(Dennis) Klein, James
(Linda) Jundt, Rosann
(Dan) Volk, Mary Kitz-
man, Dennis (Brenda)
Jundt, Renee (Leon)
Schmaltz; several nieces,
nephews and cousins also
survive.
Bob was preceded in
death by his parents, and
a son Coty Jundt who
passed in 1992.
Visitation: Friday, one
hour prior to the service
at the church.
