Ronald Jordan

Dec 4, 2021

Aug. 22, 1954-Nov. 22, 2021

Ronald Bryce Jordan,

the son of Bryce and

Theresa (Giesinger) Jor-

dan was born on August

22, 1954 in Rugby, North

Dakota. He died at the

age of 67 on Monday, No-

vember 22, 2021 at Trinity

Hospital in Minot, North

Dakota with his family by

his side.

Ron was born in Rugby

and raised on the family

farm. He attended school

in Rugby and graduated

from Rugby High School

in 1972. After completing

his education, he contin-

ued to do what he

loved – farming and

ranching. He attended a

wedding dance and there

his life had changed, as he

discovered love at first

sight on June 10, 1978.

Soon after, he was united

in marriage to the love of

his life, Rebecca Duchsch-

er on February 24, 1979 in

Rugby. They were blessed

with three children, Jen-

nifer, Jesse and Cassie and

raised their family on the

family farm. Ron’s life and

love was his family, farm

and ranch. He knew his

cattle by looking at them

and knew their tag

number without looking

at the tag. He taught his

children how to run and

operate every aspect of

the farm. The life he led,

was what he loved and

was his passion in life.

Work from sun up to sun

down – if something

needs to get done, get it

done and get it done right.

He retired from farming

and ranching in 2016 and

later went to work for

Home of Economy when

it came to Rugby. He en-

joyed working for them, it

kept him busy and he en-

joyed everyone he worked

with. He enjoyed garden-

ing, watching football,

and anything with his

children and especially

grandchildren.
