Jamie Lynn (Wangler)
Modine passed away on
Friday, October 22, 2021
at the age of 44 years
under the care of her fam-
ily and hospice in Rugby,
North Dakota. She was
born on December 24,
1976 in Rugby, North
Dakota to Richard and
Rita (Hilzendager)
Wangler.
Jamie was the youngest
of eight children and was
raised in Rugby. She gra-
duated from Rugby High
School in 1995. She con-

Bismarck State College for
two years. On September

beautiful children, a son,
Bradyn and daughter, Jae-
lyn. The couple lived in
Minnesota and Rugby for
a time before making their
home in Alexander, North
Dakota. Jamie was lucky
to be a stay at home mom
and raise their children.
She would light up when-
ever she talked about her
kids and their
activities – she was so
proud of them. She was
proud when Bradyn gra-
duated from BCT and AIT
for the National Guard.
Both Bradyn and Jaelyn
were active in sports and
Jamie loved to watch
them play. Another
proud moment was when
Jaelyn was elected Stu-
dent Council President of
her school.
Jamie enjoyed camping,
playing darts, spending
time with family and
friends and enjoyed riding
the side by side on the
trails in South Dakota.
She especially loved
watching scary movies
and doing crossword puz-
zles. She was a nice, kind
and warm person with a
beautiful smile that will
be missed by so many.
