Ron spent his earliest

years on farms northwest

his family moved to the

Pleasant Lake area. Grow-

his four sisters, who loved

him dearly, gave him op-

family values, good work

ethic and the blessing of

living close to God and

nature. Ron attended a

one-room country school

through eighth grade,

Rugby High School, then

four years at the Universi-

he was in ROTC. He en-

Rugby to be closer to his

family and his roots.

Ron enjoyed reading,

studying the Bible and al-

ternative medicine, family

gatherings, motorcycle

riding and in his earlier

years, he participated in

several types of sports.

He especially enjoyed

time with his great

quiet, gentle, kind and

loving man, who was al-

ways ready to help any-
