Janice Caroloy Arthur

of Rugby,age 84, went to

her heavenly home De-

cember 26, 2020 at Trinity

Homes in Minot North

Dakota. She was born on

October 5, 1936 in Rugby,

ND; the youngest of

three children to Einar

and Alice Westgard. She

attended Dewey Town-

ship #4 one room school-

house and was a gradu-

ate of Rugby High

School. Janice was a lov-

ing mother of seven boys,

and wife to Milton (Bud)

Arthur. She was actively

involved in the family

farming operation as well

as a number of family

businesses. She was also a

member of Bethany Luth-

eran Church. Janice loved

music, dancing, and cook-

ing but especially treas-

ured the many Family

holiday gatherings of the

Westgard, Arthur,

Gunderson and Kittleson

families.

She is survived by her

sons Dwight, Hal (Elaine),

Craig (Donna), Brian (Kar-

la) Gunderson, Kris, Kurt,

and Chad (Becky) Arthur,

sister Eunice Kittleson; 11

grandchildren; 11

great-grandchildren and

many nieces, nephews

and special friends. She

was preceded in death by

her parents, husband Mil-

ton (Bud) Arthur, sister

Avis Fry,

daughter-in-law’s Becky

Arthur and Zana Gunder-

son and step daughter

Myrna Arthur.

Medical Center in Rugby.

Funeral services will be

held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday,

January 3rd at St. Paul

Lutheran Church in Rug-

by with burial in the Per-

silla Watts Cemetery, Rug-

by. Pastor Joshua

Reimche, Officiating. The

service will be
