Ruth M. (Harmel) Schumacher

Ruth M. Schumacher, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 08, 2020 at home, with her family by her side. She was born on December 26, 1938 in Rugby, North Dakota to Herbert and Mabel Harmel. On December 28, 1954 she married Jerome Schumacher, created a business together and started their family in Knox, North Dakota. In 1985, Ruth and Jerome packed up and moved to Glen Heights, Texas and started a construction company. In 1999, Ruth and Jerome moved into their home, which they built themselves, in Red Oak, Texas. Everyone who knew Ruth, instantly felt her loving and caring per-

sonality, she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by husband Jerome; four sons: Mike, Russell (Chris), Robert (Peggy), Roger (Cindy). 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; one sister: Helen Swanson. She was preceded in death by her

parents, 2 brothers and one sister.

Her celebration of life was held at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 11:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2020.
