Paul Alex Ripplinger

Paul Alex Ripplinger, the son of Joseph and Walburga (Ebach) Ripplinger was born on May 10, 1943 in Rugby, North Dakota. He died at the age of 76 years on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
Paul was raised on the family farm and attended Little Flower Catholic School. He found his love for the farm early in life and began helping on the family farm. He was united in marriage to Linda Schneibel on June 11, 1966 at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. Together, they raised their five children. Along with farming, he raised cattle and horses and did septic tank cleaning for 23 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Little Flower Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagle’s.
He loved farming and everything about the farm and loved to hunt, fish and go camping. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Those who will miss him dearly are his wife of 53 years, Linda; his children, Mike (Gail) Ripplinger of Bismarck, Paul (Cindy) Ripplinger of Lisbon, Karen Anderson (Scott Cole) of Valley City, David (Karla) Ripplinger of Beulah, Kathy (Paul) Feist of Napolean; grandchildren, Lacy Ripplinger, Dylan Ripplinger, Cody (Toria) Ripplinger, Erika (Daniel) Ryan, Isaac Ripplinger, Miranda Rip-plinger, Emily Ripplinger,
Aaron Ripplinger, Logan Feist, Dalton Feist, Gracyn Feist and Dominick Feist; one great grandchild, Pyper Ripplinger; step grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Helm and Derrick Berg; a brother, Stephen
Ripplinger of Devils Lake; sisters, Helen Fix of Minot, Teresa Gefroh of Devils Lake and Agnes Schumacher of Westhope; brothers-in-law, David (Jeannie) of Rugby, Daniel (Beverly) of Fargo, Donavon (Nancy) of Barton and Dale (Gloria) of Bismarck; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Heintz of Hillsboro; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his sisters, Rosella Goldade, Frances Fix and Mary Ann Young; brothers-in-law, George Fix, Joe Gefroh, Alvin Fix, Leonard Goldade and Dennis Schneibel; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Ripplinger and his parents.
Mass of Christian burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with burial in the church cemetery. Father Franklin Miller, Celebrant.
