Rugby native Marjorie Ann Austin passed away at her home in Lynden, Washington on November 3, 2019. She was 80 years old.

Marjorie was born in Rugby on February 22, 1939, the fourth of Raleigh and Jane Austin’s five children. She grew up in Rugby, graduating from Rugby High School in 1957.

Survivors include her sons Mitch Scheet of Dallas, Oregon; Mike Scheet (Jean) of Bismarck; Greg Scheet (Betty) of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; and Jim Richards-Austin (Ellen) of Ferndale, Washington; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Susan Soby Glenn) of Anchorage, Alaska; and Shirley Austin of Vacaville, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Austin, and sister Judy Stevens.

No formal service will be held. Her ashes will be interred at Persilla Watts Cemetery in Rugby.
