Blake Alan Allickson, Mandan, passed away at the tender age of 23 on Oct. 19, 2019, in Mandan.
A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Charity Lutheran Church, 120 Aspen Ave., Bismarck, with Rev. Scott Bauman officiating.
Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave., Bismarck. Visitation was also held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church
Burial was held Friday at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck.
Blake Alan Allickson, the only son of Jay and Mindy (Gums) Allickson, was born on Oct. 9, 1996, in Rugby.
He lived in Bismarck from 1996 to 2010 and attended Rita Murphy Elementary and Simle Middle School until the family moved to Mandan. There he attended Mandan Middle School and Mandan High School. He worked various jobs in the hotel industry, food, and construction.
Blake enjoyed wrestling in his younger years and received man trophies, medals, and accomplishments including the Triple Crown. He also enjoyed hunting and playing video games. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
His survivors include his mother Mindy Allickson (Davin Liuska), Mandan; father Jay Allickson, Rugby; sisters Jaden Allickson (Cameron Von Bank), Bismarck, Alonna Allickson and Dempsie Liuska, Mandan; grandparents Hilbert and LaVonna Gums, Bismarck, and Beth Allickson, Rugby; best friend Jaden Keller; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also leaves behind for us to love his beloved cat Peep and dog Gentry, Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Alan Allickson.
