Dale Gene Walton

Dale Gene Walton, 55, died on October 12, 2019 at his home near York, North Dakota. He was the son of Gene Robert and Eileen Elizabeth Weber Walton having been born on February 25, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He graduated from Rush City High School in Minnesota in 1982. Dale moved to North Dakota in 1984 and began working for area farmers starting with Willie Hoffert and ending with Todd and Kelly Wentz. In between he drove an over the road truck and also worked at Rugby Manufacturing. He enjoyed fishing, playing pin-ball, and enjoying a campfire. He also was a drummer in the local musical group called BX4.
He is survived by his sons Joshua Rugby and Dustin Bismarck and a step-daughter, Cheyenne Morrow Rugby. He also leaves a sister Denise (Dan) Behrendt Rush City, Minnesota and brothers Douglas (Caralee) Cambridge, Minnesota and Duane (Cyndi) Lindale, Texas and his father, Gene Walton Rush City.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittany Lore Walton, and his mother, Eileen Walton.
Memorial services were held at the First Lutheran Church in Rugby on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. There was visitation at the Niewoehner Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 7 P.M.
