In 1987, August and Liz retired from farming and moved to Rugby. August died April 10th, 1996. On November 7th, 1998 she was united in marriage to Lynn Carlson at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby where they have
made their home ever since.

Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Leeds and of Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby, a member of the Altar Society in Leeds, Christian Mothers in Rugby and the American Legion Auxiliary.
