Lawrence John Kitzman
Lawrence John Kitzman, age 63, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.
Lawrence was born in 1955 to Martin and Lois Kitzman in Rugby, ND. Lawrence and Roslyn “Rose” Burgard were united in marriage on November 19, 1976 at St. Paul Lutheran MS in Rugby, ND. Lawrence worked for over 27 years for the Stark Co. Sheriff Department in Dickinson, ND retiring in 2010 as the Department Captain.
Lawrence loved hunting and fishing and had a special love for all of his grand babies.
Preceding him in death were his parents; infant brother; father-in-law; and brother-in-law.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rose; daughters, Mikki “Michelle” (Jason) Miller and Angie (Matthew) Sandys; grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, Kinley, Kendall, and Kennedy; brother, Martin (Marilyn) Kitzman; sister, Joette (Jeff) Bierman; and many loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Our Redeemer Church in Cohasset, MN followed by the 3:00 PM Memorial Service. Rev. Mark Peske will officiate.
