Lester I. Stoll

Lester I. Stoll, 97, of Deland, Fla., passed away on July 5th, 2018 after a long illness. Lester was born on January 2nd, 1921 to William and Rose (Graber) Stoll. He grew up in the Wolford area. He married Frances Tedder in 1946 and they moved to Deland, Fla., in 1950. Lester served with the armed forces and was a WWII veteran. Lester worked all of his life as a fireman and retired from the Deland Fire Department. Lester enjoyed small woodworking projects and doing puzzles. He had a full life
and always made everyone around him laugh with a joke or a song.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years; a daughter Carolyn Stoll, Daytona Beach, Florida; son Stanley N. (Deedra) Stoll; 2 granddaughters, Laurel (Justin) Ott, Deland, Florida, and Samantha (Daniel) Readdy, Merrit Island, Florida; one great-grandchild Stanley N. Stoll III of Deland, Florida; a sister-in-law, Emily Stoll of Leeds; and
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Delphia (Charlie) Ostenson and Dovie (Ted) Follman; his brother Willis Stoll; and his grandson Stanley N. Stoll II.
Burial will take place at a later date in the Wolford, ND cemetery.
