Robert “Bob” Dean Gruenberg

Robert “Bob” Dean Gruenberg, 61, of Bismarck, ND, formerly of Minot ND, passed away Friday, November 4th in St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND.

Bob was born September 24, 1955 in Minot, North Dakota. His parents were Fred and Lois (Flom) Gruenberg. Bob was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High

School in 1973. Bob had the gift of music, he sang with the Change of Pace singers in high school and played with the band “Home Grown”.

Throughout the years Bob was employed in the automotive business working as a salesman.

Bob was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, playing keyboard and piano, and singing for various events throughout the years. Bob had a con-

tagious smile and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Bob is survived by: his father and stepmother, Fred and Theresa Gruenberg, Minot; children: Justin (RaChelle) Gruenberg, Kenai, AK, Josh (Erika) Gruenberg, Grand Forks, ND, Shawn (Shelly) Gruenberg, St. Cloud, MN, and Chad Gruenberg, St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Rekker, Charles, Jacob, Kale, and Mirra; siblings, Sandy Collete, Wilmington, NC, Barbara Williams, Wilmington, NC, Pam Wold, Lake Metigoshe, ND, Jerry Flom, Minot, ND, and half brother, Dennis Flom, Minot, ND; step brother and step sister, Steve Kruse, Eagle River, AK, Karlene Johnson, Plymouth, MN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Lois and his sister, Paula Stenvold.

Celebration of Life service: Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 am in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Minot.

Private Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

Visitation: Wednesday, November 9th from 3:00 6:00 p.m. at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials are preferred to St. Mark’s Music Fund, Trinity Hospice or an organization of the donor’s choice.
