Funeral services for Donna Moline, age 83 of Willow City, were held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in the First Lutheran Church of Willow City. Burial was in the Ox Creek Cemetery of

rural Rolette. Officiating at the service was Wallace Fretland. Valerie Hobbs was the organist, Paul Fylling was the soloist and Donna’s nieces sang a special selection. Casket Bearers were all of

Moline’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donna Moline, a daughter of Edward and Agnes (Solberg) Thompson, was born on September 28, 1932 at Rolette. She was reared near Rolette and attend Juniata Country School also near Rolette. Donna graduated from Rugby High School. After graduation she began working at Rugby John Deere. Donna met the love of her life for the first time at the First Lutheran Church in

Willow City and on December 1, 1951 she married Larry Moline at Milo. She worked for Federal Crop Insurance in Rolette for a time. Donna then worked for 17 years at the Rolette Clinic. In 1983

they moved to Willow City. She began selling insurance in Bottineau. Later she worked at MTI in Bottineau. Donna retired in 2010 and has continued to make Willow City her home.

She was a member of the Rolette Ladies Aide, Willow City Homemakers and the First Lutheran Church of Willow City. Donna enjoyed reading, flowers, cooking and baking. Most of all she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donna passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in a Rugby hospital.

She is survived by her husband Larry of Willow City; sons, Dwight (Clara) Moline of Dunseith and Karl (Diane) Moline of Burlington; daughters, Candace Moline of Minot and Kerry (Duane) Bruns of Burlington; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild and a sister Sylvia Thompson of Seattle.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
