Carolyn Danielson, age 97 of Rugby, formerly of Willow City, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
A celebration of her life was held July 22nd at Emmanuel United Church in Rugby. Burial was in Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau.
Carolyn was born February 2, 1919, to Aaron and Ruth Reamer near Omemee where she was raised and educated. She married Melvin Danielson December 17, 1941. He died in 1978. After attending St. Andrews School of Nursing she worked as a registered nurse at St. Andrews Hospital, the Willow City Clinic, and the Bottineau Clinic.
Carolyn was a lifetime member of Presbyterian Women and a charter member of Wilo Homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Gary, and her brother Wallace.
Survivors include her son Robert, his wife Heidi, and their children: Skot and his wife Mindy, Troy, and Tristan and her husband Josh Johnson; daughter-in-law Sue Danielson, and her son
Spencer. Carolyn had six great-grandchildren: Olivia and Lily Danielson and Jayden, Rylyn, Piper, and Kambry Johnson. She also is survived by her sister-in-law Marjorie Reamer, nieces Connie
Thompson, Bonnie Reamer, Judy Jens and Janet Blohm; and nephews Curtis, Harley, Dennis, and Dick Danielson.
