Justin T. Koch, age 75 of Willow City, N.D., died peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Willow City. There will be visitation on Monday April 18 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau, N.D..

Justin “Tim” T. Koch, a son of George Sr. and Elizabeth (Hill) Koch, was born on November 15, 1940 in East Cleveland, OH. He grew up there and graduated from Shaw High School in 1958. He

was a lifelong employee of the United Stated Postal Service in the Cleveland area. After his retirement, he moved to a farmstead north of Willow City.

Justin was an avid fisherman and hunter and he past his love of the outdoors down to his children and grandchildren. He shared countless hunting and fishing adventures with them. His other

interests included working in his garage on hobby cars and playing pool at the “Club” in Bottineau. He was an excellent artist and enjoyed doing taxidermy and wood carving. He made many trips to Alaska and Ohio to visit family and friends. Justin cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren and other family and friends.

He is survived by 3 sons, Eric Koch (Melissa Brooks) of Craig, AK, Martin Koch of Huntsburg, OH and Jonathan (Nikki) Koch of Huntsburg, OH; 2 daughters, Susan (Joe) Byrnes of Monroe, NC

and Mary Koch (Charles Christenson) of Rugby; 11 grandchildren, Alex, Meghan, Shane, Ryan, Evan, Mason, Coleson, Carter, Elle, Ethan and Lu-cas; 1 great grandchild, Jaxton; sisters, Kathy

(Steve) Kralovic, Cindy (Rodger) Wolf and Judy Bauerle and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Koch; sister, Beth Touarti and his beloved brother, George Koch, Jr.
