Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner for Dale Monroe Natwick, 84, Towner, who died Friday, Sept. 18, at home.
Burial was held privately.
Dale was born Sept. 5, 1931 in Rugby, a son of Ernest & Dollis (Crume) Natwick. He was raised in his parents’ rural home and completed his education in Rugby. He married Caroline Holen. He ranched and worked construction throughout the state.
He is survived by his children: Connie Irey, Lake Metigoshe; Mark Natwick, Bismarck; Teri Dosch, Karlsruhe; Marci Gefroh, Minot; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Grondahl, Minot; companion, Agnes Duchscherer, Towner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Candice Ann; sister, Joanne Natwick; brother, Ernest “Corky” Natwick; his parents.
Pastor Linda Wimmer and Wally Fretland officiated. Music was provided by Martha Larson, pianist.
Casket bearers were Orrin Holen, Rodney Nelson, John Rognlien, Orrin Nelson, Jim Eidmann, Mike Anderson, Joel Olson and David Haman. Honorary bearers were Anne Haskins Irey, Garitt Irey, Lindsey Presser, Nathan Natwick, Ashley Wallner and Ethan Gefroh.
