Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, in Persilla Watts Cemetery, Rugby, for Dorothy Mae Miller, 93, who died Monday, Aug. 31, at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, Minn.
Dorothy was born Oct. 15, 1921 in Pleasant Lake, a daughter of Ashley & Emma (Lee) Cline. She worked at Cora’s Dress Shop and Myhre’s Fashions for 27 years. She also volunteered at the Heart of America Medical Center, volunteering over 1,500 hours.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Emmanuel United Church of Rugby.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Modrow, Outing, Minn.; Sandra Jacobson, Balta; three grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn; grandson, Michael Modrow; sisters, Eva Frydenlund, Frances Wappes, Alice Rogelstad; brother, Raymond Cline.
