Donald Kuk, Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Bismarck and Bantry, North Dakota, died on March 13, 2015 with family and friends by his side.
Don, the first of the “Kuk Triplets”, was born on September 18, 1951 to Louis and Marie Kuk in Rugby, North Dakota. He was raised in Bantry and graduated cum laude from the University of North Dakota in 1973. After graduation he worked briefly for the Hormel Company. He then formed his own firm and had been self employed until his death. A highlight of Don’s career was a recent private meeting with the President of the United States in the White House.
Don is survived by his triplet brothers Dave and Doug (Kathie), brother Ken and sister-in-law Nancy Kuk, special niece Dana (Chris) Condie, sister-in-law Myrna Kuk and other nieces, nephews and friends. He is also survived by his best friends Shawn and Alison Kozak and their family.
Private services will be held in Phoenix and Medellin, Colombia. There will be a public Funeral Mass at his home parish in Towner, North Dakota at a future date. Don donated his body to the University of Arizona Medical School for research. He will eventually be laid to rest in Towner near other departed family members.
Don will be remembered as a caring son, brother, uncle and loyal friend.
