Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home in Yakima, Wash., for Edward “Ed” A. Eberle, 90.
Ed was born Nov. 23, 1924 in Karlshrue, a son of Puis & Gunda (Muffenbier) Eberle. He served with the US Army in the Phillipines during World War II. He was a barber for 30 years, and an active deacon at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby for 17 years. On Sept. 15, 1947, he married Bessie Morrill in Esmond. From this union six children were born: James, Fern, Claude, Rose, Patsy and Harold.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; children; brothers, Peter and Richard; sister, Evelyn.
He was preceded in death by a son; his parents; eight brothers; step-brother, Walt Muffenbier.
