Memorial services were held Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rugby for Linda Lou Gilderhus, 66, Rugby, who died Friday, Jan. 16 at home.
Private burial services will be at a later date.
Linda was born June 23, 1948 in New Rockford, a daughter of Adolph & Katherine Ann (Bachmeier) Gilderhus. She was raised in her parents’ home in Sheyenne, graduating from high school there. In 1966 she and her family moved to Vancouver, Wash. In 1968 she married Daniel May, and the couple moved to Camas, Wash., in 1979. They dissolved their marriage in 1995. In 1997 she married Jeffery Jentsch, and they remained a married couple until 2010. She did home healthcare for many years. In 2009 she moved back to North Dakota.
She is survived by sons, Jay and Curtis May, both of Camas, Wash.; daughters, LaNette May Stevens, Washougal, Wash.; Ruth Chidester, Longview, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Sherri Fingerson, Sheyenne; Beverly Gange and Nedi Clark, both of Camas, Wash.; Bonnie Anderson, Ridgefield, Wash.; Sheila Carlisle and Jean Alexander, both of Washougal, Wash.; Joan, Vancouver, Wash.; brothers, Norman and David, Camus, Wash.; Ronald, Washougal, Wash.; Darrell, White Salmon, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
