Ilene Wolf, 76, Minot, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family, Monday, December 22, 2014.

She was born April 16, 1938 to Louis and Lena (Fettig) Reiger in Rugby, ND. She was raised and educated in the Orrin area.

Ilene married the love of her life, Martin Wolf, on September 16, 1957 and moved to Minot. It was in Minot that they made their forever home and raised their family. Their love of people brought her to several jobs in Food Service, most importantly volunteering their services for her sister at the Knights of Columbus. In 1989 Ilene and Martin purchased Minot Heating & Sheet Metal. Martin “worked” for Ilene for 30 years until they sold their business and retired in 1999.

Ilene and Martin were active members of Little Flower Catholic Church Parish, Knights of Columbus, and the Moose Lodge. Ilene’s passion was her family who were always number one on her priority list. Her home was always welcome to her family and friends. Some of Ilene’s pastimes included cooking, reading, dancing the polka, and tending to her garden. She and Martin enjoyed spending time with friends, as well as vacationing with them to Las Vegas and Arizona. She is best described by the following activities: caring, giving, generous, and loving.

Ilene’s loving family includes her husband of 57 years Martin and one son: Keith M. Wolf, The Woodlands, TX; two daughters: Kimberly (Russell) Magandy, Minot, Karen (Kevin) Kalamaha, Bismarck; four grandchildren, Rees Magandy, Reeann Magandy, both of Minot, Kadra Kalamaha, Kody Kalamaha both of Bismarck; one brother: Thomas (Arlene) Reiger, Orrin; one sister: Shirley (Dave) Bickler, Minot, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ilene was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tony Reiger; mother and father-in-law, Peter and Regina Wolf; brothers-in-law, Thomas Wolf, Joseph Wolf, Fred Wolf, Louis Wolf and Peter Senger; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Linghor; nephew, Allen T. Wolf.

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, December 27, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at Little Flower Parish, Minot. Visitation: Friday, December 26, 2014 from 2 p.m. 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Friday, December 26, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
