Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at Anderson Funeral Home of Towner for Kevin Dennis “Bo” Maloney, 32, Towner, who died Wednesday, Oct. 22, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle/train collision near Ross.

Kevin was born Sept. 22, 1982 in Minneapolis, Minn., a son of William “Bill” & Sherri (Hertle) Maloney. He graduated from Chaska High School in 2001, and completed surveying courses at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. He worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation for several years. In 2010 he and his future wife and children moved to Towner, where he worked for Houston Engineering. In 2013 he married Shawna Sterns.

He is survived by his wife; children, Dylen and Mayah; parents; brothers, Andrew, Scott and Tom, all of Chanhassen; grandparents, Clint Hertle of Austin, Minn.; Marilyn Wilson, Eden Prairie, Minn.; great-grandmother, Evelyn Hertle, Austin, Minn.; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
