She would tell stories of hauling the cream to town and coming home in the storms. Gladys was a wonderful cook and baker, some of the family favorites were her glorified rice, homemade soups, brownies, caramel rolls and cakes. Her great pride was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved having them come to her house to eat, play and stay overnight and they could bring their friends as well. She always welcomed everyone to come have a cup of coffee and a snack to eat. Gladys had a great love for animals all of her life and passed that on to her children.
