A mass of Christian burial was held Monday, Sept. 8, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for Timothy Duane Volk, 54, Loveland, Colo., who died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at home.
Tim was born Nov. 7, 1959 in Rugby, a son of Anton & Frances Volk. He grew up around the Towner and Rugby areas. In 1977 he moved to Williston, where he worked in the oil and seismic fields. In 1987 he moved to Loveland, Colo., where he worked at a tire shop, a fiberglass plant, and as a machinist in Longmont. For the past eight years he had been working for Mane Engineering in Fort Collins, Colo. In 1987 he met Jane Cross, and they married in Loveland on June 17, 1989.
He is survived by his wife; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; JoAnn Rosencrans; Diane Koble; Jan Mitzel; Paula Emly; Marlene Oien; Kristi Korman; brothers, Larry and Rodney Volk.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger, LeRoy and Kenneth Brian; niece, Kari Koble.
