Cecelia Voeller, 92 of Bismarck formerly of Harvey and Rugby died on Monday August 11, 2014 at the Sanford Continuing Care Center, Mandan, ND.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday August 15, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church in Harvey.
Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey.
Visitation will from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday August 14, 2014 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.
Cecelia was born on May 26, 1922 in Hibbing, MN. She was the daughter of Tito and Elisa (Fabri) Bazzacchini. She grew up in Hibbing and graduated from Hibbing High School in 1941. Cecelia graduated from Hibbing Junior College. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis and worked as a secretary and Flight Attendant for Northwest Airlines. Cecelia married Fred Voeller on November 9, 1957 at Stevens Church in Minneapolis. They lived and farmed southwest of Rugby. They retired from farming in 1995 and in October 2001 they moved to Harvey. Fred died on February 11, 2002. Cecelia continued to live in Harvey until 2011 when she moved to Bismarck and recently to Mandan.
Cecelia was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Harvey.
In her later years she enjoyed Wii bowling and crossword puzzles. She was known for her outstanding cooking and gardening while living on the farm.
Cecelia is survived by her sons, Allan (Karlene) Voeller of Menoken, Ben (Teresa) Voeller of Columbia, Missouri, David (Colleen) Voeller of Harvey, Donald “Brother James of Franciscan Brothers of Peace” of St. Paul, MN; daughters, Claudia (Tony) Schmitz of Burnsville, MN and Marian (Mike) Fluharty of Mandan; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; brothers, John, Andy, Alfred, and Albert; sisters, Aida Bazzacchini and Mary Baehr.
