Harlan Thingelstad

Memorial services and burial will be held in Antelope, Mont., for Harlan Thingelstad, 55, Rugby, who died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at home.

Harlan was born March 7, 1959 in Culbertson, Mont., a son of Hassel & Alma (Brekke) Thingelstad. He received his education in Wolf Point, Mont. Following school, he worked at the Sherman Hotel in Wolf Point and owned and operated a couple of apartment complexes and the Discovery House, a novelty shop. After 10 years, he moved to the Houston/Temple, Texas area, where he managed a couple of convenience stores and did interior decorating on the side. He later moved to Minot. For the past three years, he made his home in Rugby.

He is survived by sisters, Betty Harris, Billings, Mont.; Sharon Topp, Minot; brothers, Roger, Minot; Vernon, Wolf Point, Mont.; nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
