A mass of Christian burial was held Monday, April 28 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Esmond for Thomas “Tommy” Hoffner, 44, Fargo, who died at home Thursday, April 24.
Burial was in the church cemetery
Tommy was born May 7, 1969, a son of Eddie & Eileen Hoffner. He grew up in Esmond, graduating from Esmond High School in 1988. He worked at the Fessenden Co-Op Elevator before moving to Grand Forks, where he attended UND for a short time. He then moved to Fargo, where he worked in sales and construction.
He is survived by his mother; brothers, Bobby, Esmond; John, Minneapolis, Minn.; Danny, Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters, Elizabeth Georgioff, Eden Prairie, Minn.; Frances Molina, Colorado Springs, Colo.; nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Father Brian Bachmeier officiated. Music was provided by Helen Arnold and the St. Boniface choir.
Urn bearer was Corey Olson. Honorary bearers were Stacey Pellet, Wanda Schwab, Kyle Sabbe, Craig Arnold, Dennis Randle and Michael Thomas.
