Burial service was held at South Florida National Cemetery for James Kenneth Vetsch, 72, Rockledge, Fla., who died Nov. 30, 2013 at the Wuesthoff Hospice House.
James was born Dec. 5, 1940 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Rugby, a son of Jacob & Magdalena (Goldade) Vetsch. He attended Rugby High School, and in January 1959 he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany, and he was honorably discharged in December 1961. He then made his home in Texas, Georgia and Minnesota, before settling in Cocoa, Fla. He worked for many years in construction, and as a tradesman and an electrician.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa, of Georgia; sons, Craig and Kent, of Arkansas; brothers, Leo, of Montana; Fred, of Arizona; sisters, Betty Vetsch, of Montana; Katherina Dale, Mandan; and Linda Axtman, Rugby.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Martin; infant brother, Joseph; infant sisters, Mary Magdalena and Mary Ann.
