Dan A. Polk, Bismarck, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Bismarck.

A private family service will be held. A time of fellowship and reception was held at First Lutheran Church in Bismarck on Friday, March 23.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, of Bismarck; four children, Dana Polk-Simmers and Jim of Bismarck, Darla Scarlett and Jim of Aberdeen, S.D., Daniel C. Polk and Jennifer of Bismarck, and Darika Polk and Branden of Bismarck; ten grandchildren; one brother, Adrian Polk of Virginia; and one sister-in-law, Bernice Polk of South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Maxine Polk; and one brother, Don Polk.

The family requests memorials be given to Marilyn J. Polk, 1345 Territory Drive, Bismarck, ND 58503.
