Keith R. Argabright

Keith Robert Argabright, 24, of Minot, died August 8, 2011, in Minot after a motorcycle accident.

Keith was born April 20, 1987, in Dallas, Texas. He lived in Dallas until second grade. While living in Texas he loved to swim and play soccer. He moved to North Dakota and lived in Bismarck and later moved to Knox, North Dakota. He attended school in Rugby. While living in Knox he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding on a tractor with David Beck. David was Keith’s father figure while he lived at Knox and later in his life. In 2008, he obtained an associate’s degree in automotive mechanics at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake. He was proud to have been on the dean’s list while attending college. After college Keith lived in several cities in North Dakota before settling in Minot. In Minot he was a manager of a Subway restaurant. At this time he was employed as manager of the Quick Lube department at Minot Chrysler Center. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his mother, Cyndy Thomas, Bismarck; two brothers, Craig (Angela) Thomas, Dallas, and Timothy (Esther) Thomas, Oakland, California; two half-sisters, Arysta Argabright and Alisha Clark, both of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; his special friend, Brooke Schroeder, Minot; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Leola Banse; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Mildred Argabright; and his adopted grandfather, Bernard Beck.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at the Knox Community Park in Knox. Pastor Brenda Burns will officiate. A private interment will take place at a later date.

Family and friends will gather at the park in Knox on Friday, August 12 at 7:00 p.m.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Keith Argabright Memorial Fund, First Western Bank, PO Box 1090, Minot.
