Eunice Britt
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at Restoration Ministries, for Eunice Britt, 73, of Rugby, who died Wednesday, Oct. 27 at the Heart of America Medical Center.
Burial was in Persilla Watts Cemetery.
Eunice was born June 24, 1937, in Fessenden, a daughter of Benjamin and Ruth (Baier) Wahl. She grew up in the Fessenden area, graduating from high school there. Following graduation she traveled and spent many years in California, Arizona, Texas, and Montana. In June 1987, she moved back to Fessenden to care for her parents until their deaths. She worked in the bakery at Jerry’s Jack & Jill, the Trails Inn Saloon, and the Cabaret Bar as a cook and waitress. She was once married to John R. Britt.
She was a member of Restoration Ministries, Rugby.
She is survived by one son, Barry, Rugby; one brother, Clifford Wahl, Fessenden; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Maynard and Donald Wahl.
Pastor Daryl Jelsing officiated. Music was provided by Chris Halvorson, organist.
Casketbearers were Keith Wachtel, Derek Melby, Donald Jelsing, Rod Solem, Dwight Johnson, and Gary Storbakken.
