Joseph Diepolder
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Willow City, for Joseph “Joe” Diepolder, 55, of Bismarck, who died Saturday, Aug. 7 at Medcenter One, Bismarck.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Joe was born Sept. 25, 1954, in Bottineau, a son of Donald and Dora (Dionne) Diepolder. He was raised in the rural Willow City home of his parents, and graduated from Willow City High School in 1973. He completed his education, attending NDSU Bottineau, where he studied horticulture. He worked for several years for Steiger Manufacturing in Fargo. He later moved to Bismarck, residing there for the past 20 years. He worked for various companies and was employed with Federal Express at the time of his death.
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Dora, of Rugby; three brothers, John of Lawton, Okla., Jim of Willow City, and Karl of Columbia, S.C.; four sisters, Dr. Ann Brown of Grand Forks, Mary Diepolder of Columbia, S.C., Paula Diepolder of Albuquerque, N.M., and Sarah Diepolder of Moose Lake, Minn.; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William, in infancy; a sister, Lisa Diepolder; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Fr. Philip Chacko will officiate. Music will be provided by Danielle Diepolder, soloist, and Cheryl Guss, organist.
Casketbearers will be his brothers and sisters.
