Memorial services were held Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Rugby, for Gregory “Greg” Mayfield, 52, of Argyle, Texas, who died Tuesday, July 20 in Argyle.

Burial with full military honors will be in the Dallas-Fort Worth Military Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 9.

Greg was born Aug. 21, 1957, in Lancaster, Calif., a son of Charles and Alice Mayfield.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Mayfield, Rugby; son, Greg Mayfield, Jr., Rugby; three daughters, Rachel Mayfield, Rugby, Sara Spain, Huntington, Tenn., and Sarah Ruth Woodworth, Concord, Calif.; one granddaughter; brothers, Charles Mayfield, Argyle, Texas, Theron Mayfield, Denton, Texas, and Matthew Mayfield, Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Melanie Hyland, Albuquerque, N.M.; and other relatives.
