Lyle was the eldest of Homer and Doris Romine’s four children. Born and raised in central North Dakota, Lyle attended radio school in Minneapolis before returning to Devils Lake in 1971 to begin his career. Lyle and Terrie married in 1973 and their son Jesse was born in 1980. The Romine’s moved to the Fargo area in 1981, making their home north of Oxbow in 1988. In 2005, Jesse added Anita to the family. Lyle loved to golf, fish, work on diamond willow, talk farm/ranch news on the American Ag Network, and laugh with family and friends. Lyle is survived by everyone whose life he touched. In lieu of a funeral, Lyle requested that his family and friends gather to celebrate his memory. This celebration of Lyle Romine’s life will take place at Lyle & Terrie’s (4989 Klitzke Drive, Hickson 58047) on Saturday, July 31st. The social hour will start at 4 p.m. and the commemoration at 5 p.m.
