Scott Hamann
Funeral services were held Friday, May 14, 2010, at Evangelical Bible Church, Dickinson, for Scott “Scottie” Hamann, 33, of Dickinson, who died Saturday, May 8 at his home due to natural causes.
Scottie was born April 17, 1977, in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Kenneth Lynn and Vonna Sue (Ely) Hamann. He grew up and attended school in American Falls, Idaho, until the family moved to Billings, Mont. when he was 13 years old. In Billings, he attended Skyview High School, graduating in 1995. He moved to Dickinson in 1999 to attend Dickinson State University. He married Rebekah Bronson on July 25, 2008, at Evangelical Bible Church in Dickinson. The couple made their home in Dickinson, where he was employed by Remco Software as an IT Coordinator.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; parents, Kenneth and Vonna Hamann, Billings, Mont.; sisters, Nancy Hamann-Yost and Jennifer Hamann; grandmothers, Sally Hamann and Floy Ely; father- and mother-in-law, Alvin and Rebecca Bronson II; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Beth Simonsen, Debbie Foulk, Danny Bronson, and Andy Bronson; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Louis Hamann and Steve Ely, Jr.; mother-in-law, Ruth Bronson; and brother-in-law, Alvin Bronson III.
Pastor Tim Privratsky officiated.
