Alfred Reed

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, 2010, at United Methodist Church in Rolla, for Alfred Reed, 89, of Rolette, who died Tuesday, March 16 in a Minot nursing home.

Burial will be in Island Lake Cemetery, Rolette, later in the spring.

Alfred was born Nov. 12, 1920, a son of George and Grace Reed. He married Arletta Worrall and she preceded him in death. He married Gloria Tuhkanen in July 1969.

He is survived by a son, Terry, Rolette; a daughter, Ellen Markwardt, Dickinson; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
