Kevin Goldade

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey, for Kevin F. Goldade, 40, of Harvey, who died Thursday, Nov. 12 at St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Kevin was born March 3, 1969 in Harvey, a son of Peter J. and Agnes (Muscha) Goldade. He grew up there and graduated from Harvey High School in 1987. He attended Minot State University before returning to Harvey where he was employed by Schwan’s Ice Cream, Knudtson Construction and Agriliance. He started working with the Canadian Pacific Railroad in 1997 as a conductor and was employed there until his death. He married Robin Jolene “Bobbi” Thorson on April 24, 1992 in Harvey. Bobbi died on Oct. 1, 2006.

He was member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Wells Eagles Aerie, the United Transportation Union, and a former member of the Harvey Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his five children, Jeremy, Jacob, Karly, Hunter and Koby; four grandchildren; mother, Agnes Goldade of Harvey; two brothers, Gary of Rugby and Cary of Bismarck; three sisters, Cindy Miller of McClusky, Lori Schimke of Harvey, and Brenda Weinmann of Selz; special friend, Barb Knox and her daughter Jennifer, of Harvey; mother-in-law, Agnes Thorson of Wahpeton; sisters-in-law, Kathy Thorson of Mooreton, Debbie Sundberg of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Ann Swartz of Rosholt, S.D., Charlene Hager of Lincoln, Julie Thorson of Fargo, and Kari Gitzlaff of Minneapolis; and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father and wife, Bobbi.
