Ronald Hammersmith

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Dazey, for Ronald Hammersmith, 47, Fargo, who died Monday, July 27 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo.

Burial was in the Dazey Cemetery.

Ron was born Feb. 26, 1962 in Valley City to Donald and Donna (Anderson) Hammersmith. He received his education in the Valley City school system. At the time of his death he was employed at the Marriott Hotel in Moorhead.

He is survived by his father, Dazey; a sister, Cherry Gannarelli, Rugby; two nephews; his step-grandmother, Rose Anderson, Dickinson; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his grandparents, Arnold and Amelia Hammersmith and Don and Dorothy Anderson; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
