Frank Voeller
Funeral mass was held Friday, July 31, 2009 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Great Falls, Mont., for Frank B. Voeller, 86, Great Falls, who died Monday, July 37 at a Great Falls nursing home.
Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Frank was born June 15, 1923 on the family farm near Silva to Valentine and Frances (Volk) Voeller. He was raised on the family farm and attended rural school. He married Angeline Keller on Oct. 12, 1953 in Towner, and together they farmed the Voeller family farm. In 1967 he sold the farm and moved to Great Falls. Angeline died Jan. 1, 1987. He married Lorraine Kaupang on Sept. 26, 1987 in Bejou, Minn. He worked at the Anaconda Mining Co. until 1980 when the smelter closed. He then worked for United Materials until he retired in 1986.
He was a member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge and Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
He is survived by sons, Jim Voeller, Helena, Mont.; Richard Voeller, Billings, Mont.; Ron Voeller, Cheyenne, Wyo.; and Kevin Voeller, Casper, Wyo.; daughters, Donna Hayes, Great Falls; Karen Tuxbury, Missoula, Mont.; and Diane Dahlman, Dutton, Mont.; a brother, Marcus Voeller, Spokane, Wash.; sisters, Eva O’Connell and Ann Hoeppner, both of Grand Forks; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; his parents; brothers Bernard, Walter, Joseph, Edward, Sylvester, Rochus “Roy” and John Voeller; and sisters Katherine Voeller, Clementine Dosch and Rosalie Zeek.
