Mary Olsen

A graveside service was held Friday, July 3, 2009 at Longview Memorial Park, Longview, Wash., for Mary Eva Olsen, 86, Kelso, Wash., who died Sunday, June 28 at the Hospice Care Center there.

Mary was born Feb. 1, 1923 in Balta to Joseph and Eva (Black) Voller. On June 30, 1943 she married Otto C. Olsen in Minneapolis. They moved to the Longview area in from Towner in 1964.

She is survived by five children, Ron Olsen, Longview, Wash.; JoAnn Peterson and Jeff Olsen, both of Kelso; Marlene White, Napaville, Wash.; and Kathy Hiatt, Peshastin, Wash.;12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Shawnna Loomis.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Keith.
