Bonnie Fought

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Topeka United Methodist Church, Topeka, Ind., for Bonnie M. Fought, 67, Topeka, who died Sunday, June 7 at her home after a battle with cancer.

Burial was in Eden Cemetery, Topeka.

Bonnie was born March 18, 1942 in Rugby, the daughter of Marlin C. and Arla M. (Hanson) Sather. She moved to Topeka from North Dakota in 1957 and married David R. Fought on March 18, 1961.

She was a member of the Topeka United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Martel Fought and Daniel Fought, both of Topeka; a daughter Jayne Fought-Schlemmer, Goshen, Ind.; four grandchildren; and a sister, Marla Yoder, Rugby.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Boyd Sather; and a sister, Opal Mundahl.

Pastor Diana Siegel officiated.
