A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Highmore, S.D., for Nettie Ann Ledbury, 104, Cando, who died Saturday, March 21 at the Towner County Living Center, Cando.

She donated her body to the University of North Dakota Medical School in Grand Forks. Burial will be at a later date.

Nettie was born Jan. 14, 1905 in Rosthern, Sask., Canada. She grew up in Wolf Point, Mont. She married Frank Ledbury in Langdon on March 19, 1927. They moved several times for his job with Cargill. They lived for many years in Sarles.

She is survived by her children, Joyce Peterson, Highmore, S.D.; David Ledbury, Grand Forks; Paul Ledbury, St. Cloud, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchldren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Bernadette Fadipe

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at The Church of St. Gerard, Brooklyn Park, Minn., for Bernadette Alice Fadipe, 45, Brooklyn Park, who died Sunday, March 15.

Bernadette was born Jan. 26, 1964 in Rugby, the daughter of Bennie and Regina Eisenzimmer. She grew up in the Balta area and graduated from Balta High School and North Dakota State University. She was employed by Hennepin County.

She is survived by her husband, Bamson; children, Maxwell and Gina; her mother, Regina Eisenzimmer, Rugby; sisters, Margie Eisenzimmer and Marilyn Stenson; brothers, Duane and Myron Eisenzimmer; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father. Father Giles A. Schinelli was the celebrant.
