Patricia Simera
A memorial service was held Jan. 29, 2009 at her home church in Tulsa, Okla., for Patricia C. Simera, 64, Broken Arrow, Okla., who died Jan. 26 at her home in Broken Arrow. A memorial service will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Marysville Township, Rolette County.
Patricia was born Sept. 23, 1944 in Bottineau, the daughter of Raymond and Hanna (Marshall) Roberge. She was raised in Bottineau. After graduating from Bottineau High School she attended and graduated from St. Andrew’s School of Nursing in Bottineau. As a registered nurse, she worked at hospitals in Great Falls, Mont.; Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Spokane Valley, Wash.; Pendleton, Ore.; and in Kentucky. She also worked as a private nurse for a few years. She later pursued training to become a credentialed minister and ministered to the sick and elderly in nursing homes and hospitals in the Great Falls and Tulsa areas. She took mission trips to Guatemala. She then attended and graduated from the Domata School of Missions.
She is survived by a son, Ronald McCannel, and a daughter, Kerry McCannel, both of Great Falls; a brother, Edward Roberge, Loon Lake, Wash.; a sister, Tanna Rae Dole, Irrigon, Ore.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, including Marie Roberge, Rolette.
