LFS sixth-graders graduate

Rugby’s Little Flower Catholic School held its sixth grade graduation May 23 during the 9 a.m. Mass. This year’s graduates include Jerry Brossart, son of Sheryl and Nick Brossart; Kristina Mary Elizabeth Brossart, daughter of Tammy and Steve Brossart; Rachael Beth Hartl, daughter of Char and Bill Hartl; Trenton Joel Sanford, son of Veronica Sanford and Tom Sanford; Kelly Jo Swanson, daughter of Laura and Mike Swanson; Hayden Calvin Thingvold, son of Roanne and Wade Thingvold; and Collin Roy Voeller, son of Lynae and Mark Voeller.

Kristina Brossart began with welcoming everyone along with words of memories and class history. Kelly Jo Swanson read the first reading, Rachael Beth Hartl led the responsorial psalm, Deacon Arlen Blessum read the Gospel, and Hayden Thingvold read the prayers of the faithful. Msgr Brian Donahue, the celebrant, gave words of advice during his homily. Fr. Thomas Graner, the concelebrant, closed with emotions thanking the students and congratulating them on their hard work and working together. The music was performed by LFS choir students and directed by Glenda Mack.
