Leeds FCCLA students advance to state competition

Members of the Leeds School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Chapter attended District III STAR Events at Dakota Prairie School in Petersburg on Feb. 5.

Mylie Herman and Paige Johnson competed in Chapter Service Project Service Display with a project called, “A World Without Suicide.” Alyssa Anderson competed in the Career Investigation division researching the career of a Licensed Practical Nurse. All three students received Silver Stars and will advance to April’s state competition in Bismarck.

Two Leeds members, Courtney Bubach and Shelby Jorgenson, served as student judges for various events. Accompanying students was Jane Brown, Leeds FCCLA adviser.
