Residents from Haaland Estates in Rugby enjoyed a planned outing to a local farm Wednesday, Aug. 5. Animals were brought out of their stalls and led to their awaiting guests to enjoy.
Tammy Tufte, Haaland Estates activities director who plans events for residents, said, “The guineas stood away. The residents enjoyed the horses, (and) the goats. It was a really good experience. Some of the residents were excited to carry a baby goat. There was a mustang and another horse, a mare and foal, bottle fed goats.”
Haaland Estates schedules their residents to travel to surrounding communities to enjoy activities such as playing games at a casino and eating out at local restaurants.
