An antique phone booth is missing after being a staple at the Rugby Amtrak Station.

“We believe the phone booth is between 60-70 years old,” Dale Niewoehner, the station’s lobbyist, said.

Niewoehner has been taking care of the antiques and photos on display in the lobby for years.

“I was told to remove all photos and items before the lobby was to be painted. That was the last time I saw the phone booth. It was one of the only things left in the lobby,” he said.

A police report has been filed with the local police department. Anyone with information about the phone booth is asked to contact the Rugby Police Department at 776-6112 or Niewoehner at 776-6222.
